TNO has developed a cutting-edge hydrogen supply chain model that offers valuable insights into crucial performance metrics such as levelized cost, roundtrip efficiency, CAPEX, and, more recently, greenhouse gas emissions. This model evaluates various supply chain routes, including ammonia, methanol, liquefied hydrogen, LOHC, and gaseous hydrogen via pipeline from multiple countries.
The latest modeling results, recently published in a paper on the cost and greenhouse gas emissions of international hydrogen supply chains, reveal significant findings. In this presentation, we will highlight some of the key takeaways from this groundbreaking study.
