VoltaChem welcomes Uniper as community member

Shared Innovation Program VoltaChem is pleased to welcome Uniper as a member to its community in the field of industrial electrification. Muhammad Zubair, Project Manager Business Development at Uniper explains why the company decided to join.
"We are Uniper, an international energy company with about 13,000 employees. We combine a balanced portfolio of technologically advanced large-scale assets with outstanding technical and commercial expertise. In the Benelux, we produce and supply electricity, heat, and gas", states Muhammad Zubair, Project Manager Business Development at Uniper.
"We play an important role with our assets in ensuring that the region has a reliable supply of energy. We also aim to supply a range of innovative energy products to our partners and customers throughout the Zuid-Holland region. This includes delivering residual heat and carbon dioxide, providing steam to industrial facilities located near our power plants, storing captured carbon in depleted gas fields, and using biomass and industrial by-products to generate power and heat. Moreover, we are looking into Power to X solutions (e.g. Power to Gas/Heat) and CCU."
